Call for Applications: Renal Regenerative Medicine Subsidy Program

The Center of Regenerative Medicine, together with the Division of Nephrology, is offering research subsidies – up to $5000 in direct costs to be spent at WUSTL core facilities – for advancing research that spans both renal biology and regenerative medicine.  Applications are open to faculty throughout the entire WUSTL community.

regenGrants of up to $5000 each will be awarded, and must be spent in its entirety at a WUSTL core facility.  Possible cores include, but are not limited to hESC Core, GEiC, and WUCCI.   Funding is expected to begin September 1, 2016.  Click here for full program details.

 
To apply for this award, please submit the following information as a single PDF document:

  1. NIH-style biographical sketch
  2. A brief research statement describing the proposed research and its relevance to both renal biology and regenerative medicine. Proposals should not exceed 1 page in length, using standard margins and 11-12pt font (Arial or Times). Preliminary data is not required, but may be included.
  3. A quote from the proposed core(s) for the cost of the work to be performed.

Applications received after August 12, 2016, will be considered on a rolling basis, until funds are exhausted.   Proposals will be reviewed by the leadership of the Center of Regenerative Medicine.
