On Saturday November 14, the National Kidney Foundation held their 29th annual gala in downtown St. Louis. Our own Marcos Rothstein, MD and his wife Cathy served as physician chair of this festive event with the goal of raising funds to benefit the National Kidney Foundation. Titled “The Speakeasy Soireé,” guests arrived in swanky 1920’s era attire and enjoyed the live band while supporting a great cause. All proceeds from the evening will help to fund important NKF programs including Kidney Health Screening, Public Education Workshops, Patient Assistance Hotline and Peer Mentoring Program, Advocacy Programs, and Professional Education.
