Research Interests
Research interests include renal progenitor cell regulation during embryonic kidney development, post-natal growth and maturation of the kidney, chromatin remodeling complexes and their role in kidney development and disease, congenital renal birth defects, acute kidney injury and repair, chronic kidney disease, and therapies to ameliorate kidney fibrosis after injury. Our lab uses genetically engineered mice, genomics (ChIP-seq, Cut&Run, Cut&Tag, ATAC, single cell technologies, HiC, HiChIP), primary cell culture of nephron progenitor cells, spatial technologies, and advanced imaging techniques to investigate these areas of interest.
