WashU Nephrology gathered for a potluck lunch on Monday, February 12, 2024, to celebrate the Chinese New Year, also known as the Lunar New Year, as we enter the Year of the Wood Dragon.
The celebration gave everyone the chance to eat, relax, and mingle. Many thanks to Meei-Hua Lin, a senior scientist in the Jeffrey Miner Laboratory, for the following pictures and organizing the lunch.
A majestic and lucky creature in Chinese folklore, the Dragon symbolizes bravery, creativity, and innovation. According to the Chinese horoscope, 2024 will bring potential and opportunities for personal growth, professional success, and social impact.
Happy New Year
