Please join Jeffrey Miner, PhD, and members of his lab this Wednesday for the latest in the series of Alport online workshops. Hosted by Alport UK, the Zoom event will be held June 24, 2020, at 11:30 Central Daylight Time (5:30 pm British Summer Time).
Dr. Miner, Professor of Medicine, WashU Nephrology, is an internationally recognized expert on Alport Syndrome. “This is a terrific opportunity for members of my lab to present their research on Alport syndrome to an interested and engaged group of patients, clinicians, and researchers from around the world,” says Miner. “During this time of no travel, it is a great way for them to get exposure to the Alport syndrome community.”
Presenting their research will be Miner and members of his lab, Steven Funk, PhD, Hani Suleiman, MD, PhD, Liang Ning, PhD, and Kohei Omachi, PhD.
Alport UK is a patient-led organization that provides a support and information network to all those affected by Alport Syndrome. The Alport online workshops debuted last month with a question and answer session about COVID-19 and the impact on adult kidney patients.
All are welcome to “attend” the presentation! Simply email research@alport.info for Zoom details.
