Please welcome Brigitte Northrop, WashU Nephrology’s new Fellowship Program Office Coordinator.
Brigitte has worked for Washington University School of Medicine for over 19 years, when she first joined the Division of Hematology. She now comes to us from the Department of Psychiatry, where she has been the Fellowship Coordinator for the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship training program since 2007.
“I’m excited about starting this new chapter in my career,” says Brigitte. “Everyone has been so warm and welcoming. I look forward to working with the WashU team.”
Born and raised in St. Louis, Brigitte’s favorite places to visit here are the St. Louis Art Museum and the St. Louis Zoo. In her free time, she likes to read, explore new restaurants with friends and spend time with her family and two dogs. “I try to take vacations near the beach and ocean. My son just graduated from college and has moved to Texas, so I foresee a lot of trips to Dallas in my future!”
