Cheryl Cress and Lisa Koester-Wiedemann Share Their Expertise at VASA Practicum 2025

WashU Nephrology Clinical Nurse Coordinator of Home Modalities Cheryl Cress, RN, CNN, and Nurse Practitioner Lisa Koester-Wiedemann, CS, MSN, ANP, CNN-NP, will offer their expertise at the 2025 VASA Practicum on Hemodialysis Access at the Eric P. Newman Education Center (EPNEC) on the WashU Medical campus, May 16-17, 2025.

This hands-on, day-and-a-half course is designed for vascular access specialists, nephrologists, dialysis-related health professionals, and healthcare administrators. Focusing on best practices for vascular access management in end-stage renal disease patients, participants will observe live vascular access procedures, explore new methods, learn cannulation techniques, engage with emerging technology, and discuss patient care strategies with leading experts.

Surendra Shenoy, MD, PhD, Professor Emeritus, Section of Abdominal Transplantation, Department of Surgery, WashU, is the program chair. CME is available.
