Established in 1990 by women faculty at Washington University School of Medicine, the Academic Women’s Network (AWN) assists and mentors women in science and medicine. The AWN gives its members the opportunity to “network, advocate, inspire and learn.”
At this year’s AWN Spring Dinner, Victoria Fraser, MD, Adolphus Busch Professor of Medicine and Chair of the Department of Medicine, will moderate the discussion Brainstorming Session: What could an Office for the Advancement of Women do for Us?
The event will be held May 9, 2018, from 6:30 – 8:30 pm at the McDonnell Center at River Camp, St. Louis Zoo (Wells Drive Entrance). A reception, dinner and presentation of the AWN Mentor Award and AWN Student Leadership Award will precede Dr. Fraser’s address.
The Spring Dinner is open to WU faculty, postdocs, fellows and house staff. Register and pay by May 4, 2018.
