Dr. Manasa Metireddy
The Division of Nephrology welcomes Manasa M. Metireddy, MD, to its team of professionals who are taking patient care to the community. She joined the division as Assistant Professor of Medicine in October, 2018.
Dr. Metireddy is based at Christian Hospital where she is initiating a new inpatient service, as well as assisting in patient care at the new North County Dialysis Center. The north county location is a 16-station, in-center hemodialysis unit that also provides training and support for home hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.
Bringing extensive clinical experience as both a private practice nephrologist and a hospitalist to the division, Metireddy’s philosophy is to “provide high quality care that is tailored to each individual person.” She believes it is important to listen to her patients, be their advocate and strive to make a positive impact in their life.
“We are off to a great start at Christian Hospital, and we look forward to growing this practice,” says Metireddy.
North County Dialysis Center
Metireddy was previously in private practice at St. Joseph Hospital West in Lake St. Louis, MO. She earned her medical degree in India and completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center in Maryland. She then completed a fellowship in nephrology at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. In her free time, Metireddy is an avid cook and enjoys trying out new dishes.
