Social Worker Lexi Poepper Joins WashU Nephrology at Forest Park Kidney Center

Lexi Poepper, new Social Worker at Forest Park Kidney Center

Please welcome Alexis “Lexi” Poepper, MSW, LMSW, as our new Social Worker at Forest Park Kidney Center.

Lexi earned a bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of Central Missouri, completed a master’s degree in social work at the University of Missouri – Columbia, and is a licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW) in Missouri.

Born and raised in Waterloo, Illinois, Lexi just recently moved back to the St. Louis area after living in Columbia, Missouri for the past three years.  “I am so glad to be back close to my family and friends!“ she says.

As she joins the WashU Nephrology team, Lexi praises her co-workers for making her feel at home.

“Everyone at WashU Nephrology has been so welcoming!  All are willing to help and are very supportive and encouraging of one another.  I am so excited to build a rapport with my patients and really get to know them and how I can assist them.”

In her downtime, Lexi enjoys reading, playing with her pup, Rascal, and spending time with her family (see below).

And there is one more activity that keeps Lexi occupied: “I am getting married in September, so a lot of time is spent on wedding planning, too!”

Lexi and her fiance.

Welcome, Lexi.  We’re excited to have you on the team.  Congratulations on your upcoming nuptials!
