Cheryl Cress and Lisa Koester-Wiedemann Present at 2025 Annual Dialysis Conference

WashU Nephrology Nurse Practitioner Lisa Koester-Wiedemann, CS, MSN, ANP, CNN-NP, and Clinical Nurse Coordinator of Home Modalities Cheryl Cress, RN, CNN, will participate in the Annual Dialysis Conference  (ADC) program being held March 13 – 16, 2025, in Las Vegas, NV.

Celebrating its 45th anniversary, the ADC brings together a global community of kidney care experts for an in-depth exploration of kidney disease and renal replacement therapies. Designed for physicians, trainees, nurses, dietitians, social workers, and industry professionals, the conference offers the perfect platform to master both the fundamentals and the latest innovations in kidney care. The event provides a comprehensive dive into dialysis treatments, transplantation, and home dialysis therapies.

Koester-Wiedemann, who was a member of the meeting’s planning committee, will moderate a panel discussion on Optimal Kidney Replacement Life Plan, which will tackle the decision-making process for patients with advanced kidney disease in the choice of treatment, as well as a session on Clinical Management Roundtable Discussion on Home Dialysis

Cress will speak at the Dialysis Access Course Workshop and will serve as a panelist on HHD Fundamentals: The Art and Science of Personalized Vascular Access Selection – Best Practices and Emerging Trends.

Both Koester-Wiedemann and Cress are speakers in the Home Dialysis Debates session:  Koester-Wiedemann will present “Solo Home Hemodialysis vs Assisted Home Hemodialysis,” and Cress will present “Group Training vs One-on-One: Finding the Best Fit.”
