Steven Cheng, MD, Associate Professor of Medicine, Nephrology, will take part in a podcast that will be broadcasted during the upcoming ASN Kidney Week 2016 in Chicago, IL, Nov 15-20, 2016.
Kidney Week Program Committee Chair Roy Zent, MD, PhD will host the podcast. Dr. Cheng will be recorded along with two or three other colleagues on Friday, November 18, and the podcast will be released the following morning to ASN members and meeting participants.
The format of the podcast will be a general and informal round table discussion, in line with a “Live from Kidney Week” type of discussion, with Dr. Zent serving as moderator. Past podcasts have been very popular, receiving thousands of downloads once released.
“It’s a real honor to be invited to participate in the podcasts this year,” says Dr. Cheng. “I’m excited about the opportunity to talk with a distinguished panel about Kidney Week and hope to represent WashU well!”
The theme for ASN Kidney Week 2016 is “Reinventing Nephrology: From Molecule to Man” and marks the celebration of ASN’s 50-year fight against kidney disease. The event, held at the Chicago Convention Center, will highlight the past, present, and future of both ASN and nephrology.
