Please join our team, the Noble Nephrons, at the 2024 St. Louis National Kidney Foundation (NKF) Kidney Walk, which will take place 11:00 am, March 24, 2024, at 111 West Port Plaza Dr., St. Louis, MO 63146. All WashU faculty, staff and patients are welcome to participate by walking, volunteering or donating.
Team captains, Carrie Koeller, MSW, LCSW, Renal Inpatient Social Worker, and Max Edele, Director of Clinical Operations, created the Noble Nephron Team Page to accept donations, aiming for a goal of $2500.
“We are excited that once again WashU Nephrology will be represented at the NKF Kidney Walk!” says Koeller. “It is a great opportunity for us to engage with our kidney community and support the work of the National Kidney Foundation. We have some energetic walkers already registered and are grateful to have received our first few donations!”
The NKF provides support and education to patients with kidney disease. More than 83 cents of every dollar raised goes directly to support programs and services. To learn more about the annual event, visit their Why We Walk page.
