WashU Nephrology will host the 4th Annual Glomerular Diseases Symposium: An Update on Disease Mechanisms and Management, on Friday and Saturday, September 11-12, 2026, at the Eric P. Newman Education Center on the WashU Medical Campus.
This two‑day, in‑person program brings together leading experts to share the latest advances in the pathogenesis, diagnosis, and treatment of glomerular diseases. Core topics will include IgA nephropathy, podocytopathies, membranous nephropathy, ANCA‑associated glomerulonephritis, complement‑mediated glomerular diseases, lupus nephritis, and onconephrology, with sessions highlighting innovations in immunomodulation, genetic testing, precision diagnosis, and evolving therapeutic strategies.
Friday features six small‑group, expert‑led workshops with afternoon case discussions. Saturday offers a full day of lectures, panels, and Q&A sessions.
The 14‑hour course is designed for practicing nephrologists and trainees, and is also relevant to rheumatologists, internal medicine physicians, advanced practice providers, and nephrology nurses.
The symposium is organized and chaired by Tingting Li, MD, MSCI, Professor of Medicine, Associate Clinical Chief of WashU Nephrology, and Director of the Glomerular Center of Excellence. Follow Dr. Li on X: @Ting2li.
