Join us for the 3rd Annual Glomerular Disease Symposium: An Update on Disease Mechanisms and Management, on Friday and Saturday, September 5–6, 2025, at the Eric P. Newman Education Center on the WashU Medical Campus.

Connect with top glomerular disease experts at this comprehensive two-day event, where you will gain the latest insights into advancements in disease mechanisms and treatment strategies for various glomerular diseases. Key topics will include precision medicine in glomerular disease, genetic testing in glomerular disease, glomerular disease in pregnancy, IgA nephropathy, diffuse podocytopathy, membranous nephropathy, APOL1 associated glomerular disease, and lupus nephritis.
Designed for practicing nephrologists and nephrology trainees, this event will also appeal to rheumatologists, internal medicine physicians, advanced practice providers, and nephrology nurses. CME credit is available.
This year’s format will consist of lectures, panel discussions, question & answer sessions, as well as a new GN (glomerulonephritis) case breakout session led by Dr. Tim Yau. A special renal pathology workshop, led by WashU nephro-pathologists Nidia Messias, MD, and Joe Gaut, MD, PhD, will take place on Friday afternoon.
The event is organized and chaired by Tingting Li, MD, MSCI, Professor of Medicine and newly appointed Associate Clinical Chief of WashU Nephrology. She currently serves as Director of the Glomerular Center of Excellence. Follow Dr Li on X: @Ting2li.
