WashU Nephrology’s Dr. Timothy Yau Presents Medicine CPC

Dr. Timothy Yau presents case study at Medicine CPC.

Timothy Yau, MD, Associate Professor of Medicine and widely respected educator in the Division of Nephrology, will present the Medicine CPC (clinicopathological conference) on January 16, 2026, 12:15-1 pm, in Clopton Auditorium, Wohl Clinic, 4950 Children’s Place, St. Louis, MO 63110.

The CPC is a long-standing, case-based teaching format that guides learners through clinical reasoning and diagnostic problem-solving. Each session features a challenging case designed to lead the audience toward an evidence-based final diagnosis.

Dr. Yau will present the following case: “A 69-year-old woman with a history of MDS/MPN and primary CNS DLBCL on Rituxan, hypothyroidism, and hypertension, presenting with 10 days of fever, chills, and headache.”

In-person attendance is encouraged to support the speaker, trainees, and faculty. A Zoom option will also be available.  In addition, the Department of Medicine now provides CPC recordings, accessible through the following Tuesday. For additional details about the Medicine CPC, visit this page.
